Earthly Delight

This earthy fellow was gifted to my Mother, a nature lover. It's brown and green remind me of healthy earth dotted with spring flowers.

I lined it with a simple green floral design. I purchase most of my fabrics at http://www.fabrics.com/ and if you sign up for their e-newsletter you can get some great savings. Infact, I may have to surf over there now for a little after-Christmas shopping! Happy New Year!

Love your bags! They are so pretty. I also like how you line them. That always adds a finished look to them. Awesome job! :)

Hello Liz,

Have tried to post on your other blog, without luck.. Love the picture of little one ironing, have one similar for my little one, although she's a touch bigger now.

Have you made a start on your room? or are you too busy making those fab bags?

Really like the brooches you found. My sister in law calls sparkly girly things 'Shonkles' - funny sort of word, but it makes me smile when I hear it!

Love Lydia xx

Hello Liz, thanks for stopping by my blog, it was a treat to get your message, and visit your blogs. Your bags are stunning! I am fascinated by crochet - my great nana was accomplished in the art of crochet so I'm hoping to learn in her honour (once I've mastered my sewing machine a little more, trying to stick to one project at a time!) A post on the history of crochet would be wonderful! Lottie :)
