Radiant Red to go

Well, my daughter (10 years old) decided she wanted me to make her a dress. So we bought a pattern and some very pretty fabric. Then I realized how many unfinished purses were lurking in my studio. So, I am determined to finish what I started before I tackle a new project. Hopefully I can complete them and move on before the weather cools off this fall...it is a sundress pattern!

Here is a bubble bag in red with fun fur and a charm. I do love this one. It is an over-the-shoulder bag which is a must have with kids.

This would be a bubble bag in black. Again with a fringe trim but lined with black cotton.

Finally a tote. Simple and small with clean lines. A winter creation with colors like that of the northern Missouri landscape November through March. Embellised with an Asian inspired bone button.

A busy day, not really!

Beautiful AZ flowers! New inspiration for new bags. The creative juices are flowing...

I was always and orange fan, mixed with the yellow it pops! Maybe some glass beads will help duplicate the colors of the desert. Time will tell. I will be printing pictures to hang in my studio for continued inspiration...even on cloudy Missouri days!

This purple tote has hand felted flowers and wooden handles in chocolate. I love this color combination! It was inspired by spring on the plains. No sunshine here yet, just green grass and flowers. After an anniversary (14 years)/mother's day trip to AZ I am anxious to create bags using desert browns and bright cactus flower colors. New bags coming soon!
